I own these boots and have worn them everyday for quite a while. These boots have served me well.Inot only liked the color but they are very comfortable. The only things i had done to these boots was to have them re soled and new heels put on.when i had them resoled i had them done without the square cornors on the front of the boots. I just found a site on the internet where they will take your old boots and make you a pocketbook . they cut the bottoms off the boots. Withh the pocketbook my old boots can stay with me.I just ordered a new pair of Dan Post Bronze bootsThe best boots i ever had and will keep buying this brand -

I bought these boots about 8 months ago and wear them a lot.I workon a ranchand they get a lot of use .I bought them for dress at first bbut they did not take to long to getbroken in for the work here. They became so comfortable and dirty i wear them for work now.Between mucking and rounding up cows they are not very white anymore.Dan post have always been my personal choice of boots. These did have to have some work done on them.I had to have them half soled and new heels put on as one got ripped right off the boot while dismounting the horse because they were so high. The new ones are a lot lower, like regular height.I bought another pair of the white boos again. This time they are ffor dress. When i am done wearing these i read where you can send them away to have a handbag made from the tops, They cut the foot off at about ankle level, this way you still have your boots. Lots of stars do it.It is to bad they cant make shoe boots from the bottoms instead of going to the land fill or the incinerator -

I also have these dan post boots. They are very comfortable and good looking. I also like having the higher heel as i am only 5ft 4. My biggest problem is trying to keep them clean.I have tried everything i can think of to give them a good bath. I know they were distressed when i got them but now they are filthy with dirt from use. I would like to get them back to originalcolor. I do notwant to have them dyed adifferent color unless i have too. -

These boots are very comfortable to wear. I live in San Francisco, a city with lots of pavment. I have searched a couple of different sites for reviews on these boots. These were not cheap boots to buy.I cant find a review that says they can be fixed when they wear out except this site.I went to my cobbler and he suggested putting on crepe soles on these boots because i wear them on the pavment so much. He said he could replace the leather ones but they would not wear as well. I also wondered about rubber ones as well. Walking on crepe soles is a lot more comfortable than the leather was, you do not feel anything underfoot at all
